Krishnam Raju

"Uppalapati Venkata Krishnam Raju (born 20 January 1940) is a former popular Telugu film actor Tollywood. He is the uncle of New generation actor Prabhas".

"Krishnam Raju starred in more than 183 Telugu films in his career and was a prominent actor of the 1970s and 1980s in Tollywood. He entered the films in 1966 with Chilaka Gorinka produced and directed by Kotayya Pratyagatma & also he won 5 Filmfare Awards & 2 Nandi Awards;recently Filmfare Lifetime achievement Award got it".

"Gadde Rajendra Prasad is a Telugu film actor. He was born in a middle class family from Nimmakuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh. He acquired an engineering (Ceramic Engineering) Diploma.Studied in Gudur Polytechnic at age of 19 but preferred a career in acting. After initial hardships in search of a break in the film industry, he got a role in the movie Sneham. During the initial phase of his career he got petty roles but emerged as a very popular comedy actor in the decades of eighties and nineties starting from Vamsy's Ladies Tailor (1985). In his 33 years film career he acted in more than 200 Telugu movies and few Tamil movies. He is fondly called the King of Comedy, Natakireeti, Divine Comedian, Rastra Hasyapathi, Andhra Charlie Chaplin & Millennium Family Hero and many more by his fans."
